But while at McDonald's at Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 for their Open Kitchen tour, we thought the little party corner was just nice for a very small party with friends so that's how our secondborn ended up having his 1st birthday party at McDs - just like his big brother!
Unlike Riley's birthday party that had an overflowing guest list and the party planner was too busy to organise any games, this time, because we kept it very small, it was nice and relaxing and we even got to play some simple games.
Obviously Reece was quite oblivious to what was happening. Well, at least he didn't cry or fall asleep! He just wanted me to carry him the whole time. o_O

The birthday cake was created by Christy from C for Cupcakes. Since we got Riley's birthday cake from her, I thought to get Reece's from her as well.
It was a magnificent cake. Truly! Sitting on a ball were three tiers of chocolate mud pie with a sea salt caramel buttercream filling. Christy is truly a baking extraordinaire! All I gave her was the very vague idea that I wanted a Circus cake with bright colours. And this was what she gave us! And the cake rotates! And plays music!!

Riley helped blow out the candle since Reece didn't know what was going on. ;p

It was a good evening - not too tiring. I suppose the most tiring thing I did at the party was carrying Reece and cutting the cake. Haha! Reece seemed to enjoy himself and Riley, too. (After he got over sulking - he was a little sad that it wasn't his party.)
No more parties till we have another baby and that baby turns 1! Yay!
