Walking with Dinosaurs

Unlike some other children's shows where we buy only one ticket for Riley and one for either Weng or myself, we all wanted to catch Walking with Dinosaurs (except Reece of course - he doesn't know what dinosaurs are. Haha!).

Learning from our experience at Disney on Ice, I got cheaper tickets near the stage, but by the side. For a little boy like Riley, what matters most is experiencing the dinosaurs up close and not so much not about seeing the entire stage.

And experience it he did. It was an experience Riley enjoyed thoroughly - although he did go back to school and complain to Teacher Rose that he was 'disappointed' that the dinosaurs didn't scare him.

And of course, besides the show, Riley enjoyed buying show-related merchandise. And taking pictures!

Taking the train on the Circle Line from Mountbatten to Stadium. Just one stop. We had to park at Mountbatten because the traffic to the Indoor Stadium was horrendous.

Waiting for the show to begin!

Er, I can't remember which dinosaur this is. (Photo isn't exactly very clear because we weren't supposed to use the flash. Although, as predicted, many many flashes continued popping throughout the show. Typically Singaporean. Sigh.)

After the show!

And we got to take a video too! Courtesy of M1!

Oh, and I almost forgot - so how did Reece enjoy it? Very much! He was rapt in attention (or petrified?) for almost the entire part of the first half. He then latched on and fell asleep and didn't wake up till the T-Rex came onstage. And he enjoyed that bit too! Yay! I'm glad he gets to watch these shows with us.
