Domestic help

This is what I got from Weng for Mother's Day this year:
The Neato - my little robot helper to vacuum the floor when we're at work.

Dusty floors bug me VERY VERY MUCH. I have no problem keeping the house tidy. The boys are trained to keep their toys and everything else once they are done with them. Toys and drawing material are kept before nap time in the afternoon and before bed time at night. Newspapers are kept on the dining table only on the day of print. After that, they are kept in a stack in the store room till the karang guni man comes by. So, neat and tidy is not an issue. Dust-free is. Especially when I live in a neighbourhood where there are many new blocks of flats being constructed ALL the time.

Coming home to step on a dusty floor is very annoying. Yet I find I don't always have the energy to sweep and mop. We have a lovely part-time cleaner but she comes by only once a week and that hardly helps when it comes to dusty floors. Thankfully, Weng came up with the wonderful idea of getting modern technology to help.

Let's see how this works out. If it's as useful as the clothes dryer that Weng got for me earlier in the year, I'll be happy as a lark! :)
